This system should work on any Java (MIDP 2.0) capable device with internet access. This service is mobile operator/carrier independent and uses only Internet connection to send/receive SMS. That's why users of this service pays only for transmitted data to mobile operator/carrier he/she use. This principle caused that SMS or MMS send or received this way are hundreds times cheaper as SMS provided by any mobile operator/carrier. Service that www.smsplanet.org offers is free of charge. Who can be recipient of this SMS/MMS service? Anyone with: - PC connected to the internet, - mobile device that supports Java and that has internet access.
